I was scared this would burn off my sensitive face - but it didn't!

I had never tried retinol before the Alpha-H Liquid Gold Midnight Reboot Serum and was level 10 anxious at the thought of 1% Granactive Retinoid and 14% Glycolic Acid causing another perioral dermatitis flareup. But because my moisture barrier is repaired, and my skin concerns are mainly dryness and the first signs of ageing, I was willing to risk it to review it for you.

So I have been using it for 5 weeks... and my skin is glowing! I only use it once per week on Sunday nights after cleansing and before a rosehip oil to keep it simple. I also use this as my only exfoliant too – so nothing else separate at any other time of the week.

I would recommend this to anyone who has dry, normal or oily skin but not if your skin barrier is currently impaired. Will definitely keep using it!
